Hannah Lim Scales Up the Snuff Bottle, Reimagining Chinoiserie and Heritage

London-based artist Hannah Lim reimagines the snuff bottle through oversized, sculptural works that draw on Chinoiserie, classical Chinese literature, and her British-Singaporean heritage. Her materials include polymer clay and Jesmonite, with exhibitions including Reimaginings through November 14 at the Museum of East Asian Art in Bath, plus presentations in Paris and a forthcoming public artwork in Paddington, London.
