Christian Santy is a Cuban-born visual artist and cultural leader based in Miami, where he has lived and worked since 1994. Born in Havana in 1973, Santy built his artistic practice across Havana, Madrid, Málaga, and the United States, developing a body of work rooted in abstraction, informalism, and conceptual narrative that explores identity, memory, displacement, and the human condition. His work has been exhibited across Cuba, the United States, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, France, Italy, and Spain, and includes a notable presentation at the 2007 Florence Biennale, as well as the donation of his piece Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, now held in the Vatican Museum’s Private Collection. As Executive Director of EchoArt Foundation, Santy brings this same artistic vision to the organization’s mission of building shared, accessible cultural spaces for Miami’s Latin American and Caribbean diaspora communities. He guides the Foundation’s strategic direction, artistic programming, and community partnerships, working closely with participating artists, host venues, and local organizations to ensure that each project reflects the Foundation’s core commitment to inclusivity and equal cultural representation. Under his leadership, EchoArt Foundation designs multidisciplinary public art initiatives that invite direct community participation, positioning art not as something to be observed from a distance, but as a shared practice rooted in heritage, memory, and belonging.

Géraldine Guardia is a trilingual cultural manager and exhibition strategist whose work moves fluidly between logistics, storytelling, and community engagement across the Americas and Europe. Her practice sits at the intersection of art and infrastructure — the quiet, exacting labor that brings exhibitions, murals, and public programs vividly to life. She currently coordinates activities and grant applications at Unchained Mothering in Miami, and as Artistic Project Director for Open Walls, led the creative and logistical direction of a large-scale mural project at a Miami elementary school, forging partnerships with school districts, the Chilean consulate, and cultural foundations. Her formative years were shaped by her tenure as Senior Supervisor of Cultural Projects at Chile’s Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, where she oversaw a national portfolio of public art initiatives and trained project leaders across the country. Earlier, she coordinated international festival logistics for audiovisual works at Cannes, Berlinale, and Ventana Sur; directed exhibitions of Chilean cinema, including at Expo Shanghai; and led an arts workshop for Save the Children in Lebanon. She holds a Master’s in Art and Politics from New York University and a degree in Journalism from the Universidad de Chile. As Director of Development at EchoArt Foundation, Guardia leads the organization’s fundraising strategy and institutional growth, translating the same precision and cross-cultural fluency that define her project work into sustainable funding pathways for the Foundation’s public art initiatives. She identifies and cultivates relationships with grant-making bodies, cultural institutions, and community partners, and manages the full lifecycle of the Foundation’s grant applications — from eligibility review and narrative development to reporting and compliance. Drawing on her background coordinating national cultural policy in Chile and forging institutional partnerships across school districts, consulates, and nonprofits, Guardia builds the infrastructure that allows EchoArt Foundation’s programming, including initiatives such as Latin & Caribbean Roots in the Patio, to move from concept to fully funded, community-facing reality. Her approach to development is rooted in the belief that sustainable funding is itself a form of cultural stewardship, ensuring that diaspora communities have lasting access to the art and traditions that reflect their heritage.
Technology and Development Manager

Serves as the architect of EchoArt Foundation’s technological backbone, leading the strategic vision, development, and continuous evolution of the organization’s digital infrastructure. Oversees the full lifecycle of the Foundation’s technology ecosystem — from application development and systems architecture to platform integration and process automation — ensuring that every digital tool serves the Foundation’s broader mission of expanding access to art and culture. Directs the design and implementation of custom web platforms and digital solutions that support grant management, program coordination, and community engagement, while spearheading automation initiatives that streamline operations across departments and free the Foundation’s teams to focus on creative and community-facing work. Champions a culture of technological innovation within the organization, continuously identifying opportunities to optimize workflows, strengthen system reliability, and integrate emerging tools that keep EchoArt Foundation at the forefront of digital efficiency in the nonprofit arts sector. Through this work, technology becomes not merely a support function but a strategic pillar that enables the Foundation to scale its impact, reach broader audiences, and sustain the operational excellence behind every public art initiative it produces.
Executive coordinator
Yoindra Maestre de Armas is a director, educator, and cultural manager with over 22 years of experience in arts infrastructure, visual programming, and international exhibition logistics. Trained in Dramatic Arts, she taught Acting at Cuba’s Higher Institute of Arts (ISA) and spent nearly a decade as Assistant Director to renowned theater director Flora Lauten at Teatro Buendía, coordinating international tours across the United States. She has since directed and produced visual and audiovisual projects across the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean, and currently collaborates on production and project coordination with curator Elvia Rosa Castro at the Copperbridge Foundation, while also serving as executive coordinator at La Lavandería Art Space in Havana. Her independent projects include co-curating El Arsenal at Madrid’s ArtMadrid fair and directing the Visual Arts Department of the Gibara International Film Festival. As Executive Coordinator at EchoArt Foundation, Maestre de Armas oversees the day-to-day operational and logistical execution of the Foundation’s programming, ensuring that each project moves seamlessly from concept to on-the-ground reality. Drawing on more than two decades of experience coordinating international tours, exhibitions, and production teams across Cuba, the United States, and Europe, she manages artist logistics, venue coordination, and cross-institutional communication for EchoArt Foundation’s initiatives, including Latin & Caribbean Roots in the Patio. Her background bridging performing arts direction with visual arts production gives her a distinctive ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams under tight timelines, ensuring that the Foundation’s public art projects are executed with the same rigor and attention to detail that has defined her work with leading cultural institutions across the Americas and Europe.
