Executive coordinator
Yoindra Maestre de Armas is a director, educator, and cultural manager with over 22 years of experience in arts infrastructure, visual programming, and international exhibition logistics. Trained in Dramatic Arts, she taught Acting at Cuba’s Higher Institute of Arts (ISA) and spent nearly a decade as Assistant Director to renowned theater director Flora Lauten at Teatro Buendía, coordinating international tours across the United States. She has since directed and produced visual and audiovisual projects across the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean, and currently collaborates on production and project coordination with curator Elvia Rosa Castro at the Copperbridge Foundation, while also serving as executive coordinator at La Lavandería Art Space in Havana. Her independent projects include co-curating El Arsenal at Madrid’s ArtMadrid fair and directing the Visual Arts Department of the Gibara International Film Festival.
